Winter 2021 - Even tho he's not a good lecturer but every class I took with him was my favorites. Basically as long as you don't fool around and listen what he's asking for, you will be done with your assignments. ECE 113DB is the second series of senior design course and you have to choose a project which you will work on it for 10 weeks and present it on the final day. I'm not a big fan of system and signals but I chooses a machine learning project which was really helpful and enjoyable while Dr. Briggs was very satisfied with my results. Overall I recommend him for the design course series if you want to get good grade while not stressing a lot.

Great Professor. Really cares about your success. His lectures can get dry once in a while but he tries to keep you awake. He is one of the most caring professors I have ever had at UCLA. He really cares about your success and will go over time to make sure you understand the concept. Highly recommended!
