The best class I have taken at UCLA. Not only did I learn so much about how to actually sing, but I learned more about African American Culture than I did in my diversity credit writing class. Dr. Dee is simply the best person on the planet, the most kind, helpful, and caring professor on UCLA's Campus. I HIGHLY recommend that everyone take this class regardless of their interest in Music. It is fun, it is easy, and I always left smiling.
A really fun and easy class! This was my first time singing in a choir/large group. The songs are pretty easy and fun to learn. I never practiced my songs during the week and just showed up to almost every class if I could (participation is mandatory). I would highly recommend taking this class as a "chill" class--definitely worth it! Professor Dr. Dee is really funny and engaging and I promise you will not regret it.
