Winter 2026 - I just took CHEM 14AE with Deweese (not sure why there's no area to write about it on bruinwalk so I'm writing it on her BE page). When I tell you guys this will be the best professor you will ever encounter in your whole college career. Dr. Deweese genuinely cares for her students. She records so many extra practice problem videos, asks us what we need as a class (we asked for Campuswire, she incorporated it and many other things). She's so accommodating. She's genuinely the most sweetest human being I've encountered and funnyy. Any other review that tells you otherwise was probably someone that just got their ego hurt from a bad grade in chemistry because of course you still need to put in the hard work. I love her bubbliness and her energy. She made me feel very welcomed, and I can't wait to take BE with her. My only complaint is why is she not teaching ochem sigh. Anyways, I defff recommend taking this class with her. She structures it in a way that'll have you obsessed with chemistry. Coming from someone who didn't take chemistry in high school and hated it, I genuinely think it's my favorite subject now, and I thank her for that.
