I took 134A-134E (as most do since this is a series taken for the ADP minor). Sheva is very professional and concise in her teaching. She is engaging and delivers attention-capturing lectures. As a professor and colleague, she is awesome. However, if you have taken any other developmental psychology courses, you will find much of the material redundant or lacking in depth - regardless of how great she is at presenting it.
Overall, this course requires that you be a concise yet clear writer, as well as an analytical reader. The courses are reading and writing intensive and you can expect your writing ego to emerge a little bruised - but overall for the better. This course also requires you to be a cooperative and creative team-member. That means you will need to actively participate, communicate, and go beyond doing the minimum.
Highly recommend this minor and professor. If everyone took this course, the world would be filled with future parents who know how to equip and grow with their children.
