I took professor tognozzi for the travel study program in florence. she was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! definately one of the best professors i have had at UCLA. her lectures were interesting and funny, despite the fact that they were 3 hours. the tests were straight forward and she always gives partial credit, i got an easy A.

Fall 2023 - Professor Tognozzi is hilarious and is extremely knowledgeable. The class is definitely heavy literature based, so make sure you have a lot of time to read and answer detailed questions about it. Her assignments do help you a lot with the midterm and final which is amazing...but make sure you set time for it. You will learn a lot about the history of Italy which I appreciate and hey, you will learn a little Italian along the way! She is a joy to have an instructor and I would highly recommend her!
