ACTUAL COURSE TAKEN: Music History 65 (History of the Blues)

Professor Macy is a very nice lady, and her lectures were very informative. The class consisted of a 3 page album review, a 6-7 page paper, a midterm, and a final.

The lectures were enjoyable, and the album review paper was fun. The problems with the class were centered on the final paper and the midterm. The final paper required us to write about a theme in the Blues or music that was influenced by the Blues, and incorporate research into it. I felt like this was difficult to do research for, and very difficult to write 6 pages on. The midterm needed improving because she included a lot of minute details in it and the study guide was not good. The final was a bit better though.
