I took SOC GEN 144 with Sosa over Summer 2025 as well as two of his 180 classes in the fall. He's knowledgeable about the topics he specializes in and is clearly passionate about what he does, but he's not super organized as a professor. Assignments are usually just discussion posts and graded easily, the midterm is online on BruinLearn, and you have a final essay at the end of the quarter. Pretty free points in general and should be an easy A, and it's also interesting material - I learned a lot of interesting stuff (but he's not the world's most engaging lecturer). Also, he used ChatGPT to grade our final essays.
