Prof. Radke lives up to his name: RAD. His class is enjoyable with memes and sharing sessions. He's really considerate and cares about his students. His lectures are concise and easy to follow, making him the BEST professor. The homework workload might be quite heavy but homework is important anyway. His tests are doable and since we're doing remote instruction, the tests are usually in 24-hour windows. Strongly suggest others join his classes.
This professor made my first quarter at UCLA amazing. Always upbeat and looked forward to seeing his class. Wholesome overall.
PANDEMIC CLASS. class with Radke was awesome, he gave very engaging lectures and loved interacting with the students however he can during this situation. Very clear with his teaching and always made people's days with his show and tell and his easy going nature. would 100% recommend simply to have this dude as a professor. he even got a theorem named after him.
Radke made my first quarter at UCLA great. He is a very solid professor who does try to engage his students. His workload and tests are reasonable, not too easy, but not too hard. I would definitely recommend him.
Absolute unit of a professor. 3 extra credit opportunities (which didn't matter for me) by attending random lectures. Recovers easily from mistakes (my 2021 homies will understand ;)
Easy exams if you did the homework, similar solutions and repeat problems on midterms/finals.
Just take it with him and you'll enjoy it.
First quarter at UCLA and he was just a great introduction to the classes. He was super funny and down to earth with us, and even with distance learning he made us feel like we had a little home in his class. And for those on the little more emotional side, I took his class during the pandemic and he always stressed that he was willing to work with us and was overall really helpful and understanding.
One of the clearest lecturers in my experience. He is always to the point, and polite and respectful as well. He's a very genuine professor that is engaged in what he does.
Professor Radke is an awesome professor who can lecture with clarity and interact with students at the same time. His lectures were full of excellent explanations of concepts, and I really enjoyed the way he interacted with us by answering our questions even if he had to repeat himself couple of times. He is very happy to help in office hours as well. If I were to take a math class with him, I definitely would!
Dr. Radke is awesome! He is super nice and helpful. Our class was over zoom, and it was a lot of fun. I looked forward to it every day. The workload is very reasonable if you spread the problems out through the week. I really hope that I can take another class from Dr. Radke in the future!
