*Not a technical class.* ~1/3 of the grade is attendance-based (though it doesn't matter a lot given the grade distribution). Hard to say I had many takeaways other than how to interview people. Lectures aren't the most interesting, and there are parts where we're just ordered to move around them room. Both of these usually don't hit the right way at 8 in the morning. She scolded me sharply this morning because I stopped walking due to not being together on my sleep amount, which made me upset (and this may bias this review slightly, to be fair). But it confuses me that she would do this when I frequently participated in class and treated her with respect. I will say that she does listen to feedback and has great energy. The class is technically very easy: there's just a lot of busy work including art, writing reflections, reading random research papers, and begging people to answer your questions or test your system. Not a small time commitment, especially if you pick a zealous group and feel pressure to match their effort level. But if you have the time and need GPA protection, this class is a good option.
