Winter 2025 - I took this class asynchronously with live labs. It was pretty manageable if you stay on top of your work. Lab sections weren't super important to course topics, but Dr. Atienza is very nice and willing to talk to you about nursing as a career/whatever if you ask. 1 midterm, 1 final. Both online, MCQ, proctored. Labs are online, super chill. Overall pretty easy and interesting.

Spring 2025 - This class is relatively easy as long as you stay on top of the material and you are submitting all your assignments. There is one midterm and one final, both are online and multiple choice. The other major part of your grade is a lab notebook where you have to hand draw different body systems/tissues and describe them and their function. You will have sets of videos to watch for each class on your own time, and will only meet once a week on zoom durring your scheduled lab time. You'll need to purchase the lab notebook which is about $110. Atienza is very sweet and will answer any questions you have about content / nursing in general!
