Winter 2025 - While this class was asynchronous, Dr. Atienza noticed her students and cared about their performance in the class. She genuinely wants you to perform well and is very understanding as long as you demonstrate that you care about the material. There are weekly modules with MCQs at the end to quiz yourself, and the labs are also asynchronous and can be completed pretty quickly. There are two midterms for each lab and lecture content, so pay attention to the material presented in the labs, including the methods and procedures. TLDR super chill, the professor is great, no need to be worried.

Spring 2025 - This class is relatively easy as long as you stay on top of the material and you are submitting all your assignments. There is one midterm and one final, both are online and multiple choice. The other major part of your grade is a lab notebook where you have to hand draw different body systems/tissues and describe them and their function. You will have sets of videos to watch for each class on your own time, and will only meet once a week on zoom durring your scheduled lab time. You'll need to purchase the lab notebook which is about $110. Atienza is very sweet and will answer any questions you have about content / nursing in general!
