Falk Lieder is a little crazy. This class is graded on a 1.5 million point system in which 950,000 points are required to receive an A in the class. Attendance in discussions and lecture are graded, but obtaining points occurs through online assignments, such as inquizitive, ZAPS lab simulations, and other things. In the beginning, it's a little hectic to keep up with because random assignments are essentially due every single day. However, I grinded hella up until week 7/8 ish and did well on the midterm, and basically abandoned the last 3 weeks of class and skipped the final exam because I had already gotten 950,000 points. As long as you do are able to keep up with the point earning, getting a good grade in this class is incredibly easy. It's also a really interesting class. Falk likes to speak fast and include a lot of information in his lectures, but it's all really fascinating and truly does translate to everyday life in very applicable ways. At the beginning, I was pretty taken aback by the 1.5 million points, but, by the end, I truly enjoyed the class. He's a great professor who provides an incredible amount of flexibility in terms of grades. As long as you work hard, you could perform incredibly poorly on the exams (or not even take the final like I did) and still receive an A.

This class, with this professor, is pretty easy. He made it so that the total points you can get in the class is higher than the number of points you'd need to get an A so you can "choose your journey" (which assignments you want to do). If you need 120A, I 100% recommend this class with this prof.

I am selling my notes for this class, contact me at ********** if interested.

I also sell notes for LS7C, LS7B, LS7A, Psych 118, Psych 115, Psych 110, Psych 119Y, Psych 127A, and Psych 10.

Professor Lieder is a new professor and is still adjusting. He does tend to talk fast but I can feel the passion and sincerity in his lectures. At first I was hesitant going into the class because the point system was overwhelming. However, I ended up really liking this class! It is based off a point system of a lot of different assignments (assignments are super easy and online) but I ended up getting an A in his course while not taking the final AND doing meh on the midterm. He is very understanding and is still working on how to make sure everything is fair. He is very kind too. He ended up adding way more assignments at the end to help others reach the grade they wanted! I highly recommend taking his class. Super easy.

Professor Lieder is a great professor. His grading scheme might appear quite daunting at first, but once you get the hang of things, you'll quickly learn that it is very easy to do well in this class. Quick Tip: Do all of the learning activities and do very well on the midterm. This strategy gave me an A+ without needing to take the final.
