This class was incredible and I highly recommend taking courses with this professor. He mentioned changing the structure of the class each quarter but with that in mind I would say this professor does not shy away from group projects. The grading was mainly based upon the TA's discretion when it came to weekly readings on Perusall, graphic organizers, and reflections. There are weekly readings followed by online quizzes and required annotations. Doing the annotations were especially helpful for the research paper we spent the quarter working on. The class felt incredibly manageable as the professor structured the class around giving us check points to ensure you did not procrastinate to start writing until the Final due date. This is a beginners writing course so if you have previous experience in english and writing classes where you performed fairly well, you will not have any problem. The TAs go over writing mechanisms and everything you need to know structure wise so for those without experience have all the tools. I learned so much from this professor and can't recommend disability studies courses more!
