Professor Wilson was one of the best professors I have had at UCLA. Period. If you want help on your writing, take a writing class with her. The workload can get a little overwhelming; you'll end up writing a TON and reading even more. But it is completely worth the time you put into it. I never have had a professor read my writing so closely. She reads each essay hoping not only to help with writing style and structure, but she also makes a concerted effort to understand what it is you are trying to SAY, something that definitely empowers the students and makes you feel like what you are writing is actually important.
