Fall 2025 - Professor Jones does a great job of making public speaking super comfortable. The assignments were always clear and you got credit for doing your best. The readings are both books that are interesting and useful for real life. All the assignments are speeches except for a paper at the end that can be formatted question and answer style. Definitely take this class with Jones

Winter 2026 - People really scared me about this class, but it ended up being my first A+. Professor Gabe is a super engaging lecturer, very helpful, and very kind. He allows you to go to any section, as attendance isn't taken. You definitely need to study for the midterm and final, but I honestly took like half a day to study for each and I was fine. The questions are more abstract which makes it difficult time wise, but most sections of the test allow you to pick and choose which questions you want to answer. You may come out of the final feeling especially defeated just because it takes a lot out of you, but he curved the midterm and final to make the class average a solid B and the grading was pretty lenient on top of that. I found the content to be fairly interesting as well. Professor Gabe is great overall. I would definitely be sure to take Comm 100 with him.
