Fall 2024 - I did not enjoy this class at all. It was extremely disorganized, there were literally only like 3 lectures that weren’t canceled throughout the quarter and the ones that weren’t canceled were a complete waste of time. The first quiz in the class was take-home and presented to be extremely easy, but it took almost everyone about 4 hours to complete, so the professor promised an easier second quiz. She last minute announced that the final would be a paper rather than a quiz, which I was not prepared for and completely threw me off during finals week. Every discussion also has different workloads and assignments. Some sections had group projects and presentations while some had no work, which I think is unfair. I honestly feel like I learned nothing in this class, but the workload is relatively easy so if you need a low commitment GE and can handle disorganization, this one might not be so bad.
