Ok lets get one thing straight..Symcox is a fucking genius and theres no denying that. I wish I could say the same about his TA...she doesn't wear deodorant and gives everyone a B- on the midterm and the final. I think its because shes experiencing menopause a good 20 years to early. Lesson is..dont take his class, avoid it at all costs, the only B- I have on my transcript from UCLA is from this guys class, and I'm a history major that graduated with a 3.6 overall GPA.

now im not the best writer or anything, but i ended up with a B- in this class when i shouldve gotten an A or atleast a B+. i know alot of reviews on bruinwalk are skewed and some kids are just lazy but im really not a lazy kid, i work and play and am well rounded. now symcox lectures are good, i like his style and i learned ALOT in his class. when it came to midterm and final in class essays i filled up blue books and used every single note i had taken, never missed a lecture and im very responsible. Honestly i know symcox didnt grade my paper it was the nappy TA who honestly looked so incompetent for her position and i actually went once to argue with her during office hours and she gave me the stupidest reason but what can you do, kids with B.A's act like they have PHds like POSTUP u aint anything special making it harder than its supposed to be. anyways if u want to get in the B range for this class shoot for it, i just think it was unreasonable.
