Professor Nubla was super engaging in her lectures and you can really tell she’s extremely passionate about what she teaches. I took this class online over the summer, so the class was 6 weeks long. The workload was super light and the only assignments were 3 essays (4-5 pages, 5-6 pages, and 6-7 pages long), but you have a long time to do them (around 2 weeks per essay), plus you get feedback from your peer reviews, which helped a ton. The whole class is very much discussion-based and participation was mandatory. The essay prompts were very relevant and interesting, especially if you’re part of the Asian American women demographic and you want to learn more about its history and current events. I think Prof. Nubla also grades the essays leniently (although I do like writing, so take my word with a grain of salt). Overall, this was a super chill class and I'm surprised there's no reviews for it. Prof. Nubla is fantastic, and I would definitely recommend you take this for your Writing II!
