Class was pretty light. Lecture was not mandatory. Discussion was mandatory if I can remember correctly. Super light honestly didn't read full papers or anything and was able to write everything.

Really passionate teacher who loves what she teaches!! The course itself is pretty lengthy and has times where you'll be spaced out mid-lecture, but the professor always finds a way to grab your attention. The coursework consisted of a midterm essay and a final essay, both were extremely easy to write. The course also requires you reading some lengthy texts, so if you can try to skim through and take note of stuff that you deem significant. Fantastic teacher overall, half the time you don't even need the readings since she goes over them anyway. Would take this course again! Easy A.
