I strongly recommend this professor. Dr. Chanfreau is one of the best professors at UCLA who can teach very well and concerns about students who seek for his help.

I agree with comments made previous to mine. Office hours are very helpful. He is willing to explain the materials in many different ways until you understand them. He uses one or two questions from problem sets on his exams. Sometimes he recycles one or two questions from his old tests. Exams are very fair. I found his lecture notes are very organized once I understood the materials.

Some bad things about him: (1)He has a heavy French accent but bareable overtime. (2)There are a couple of trivial mistakes per each handout (7 handouts total)--he gave students bonus points for finding them!
