Fall 2020 - Quite frankly, I don't know why there are such terrible ratings on Professor Kouloujian? He was a great professor. He's very patient with all the students and wants everyone to pass the class! The assignments and midterms are extremely easy. His teaching method is extremely effective since it helped one of my classmates learn from scratch and I was easily able to learn how to read and write Armenian again! I definitely recommend this class and will be attending the 101B class this winter!
Fall 2017 - I learned so much in this one class. My Armenian reading and writing skills improved SO dramatically. I now feel more confident writing Armenian and even reading my writings my peers. He is a great professor and he wants you to succeed and fall in love with the Armenian language. His classes are stress free and they are simply for people who are interested in really learning the language. TAKE HIM!!!
Winter 2018 - This class was very useful and it does not matter if you have not taken Armenian 102A. People take the series (102A - 102C) in such random order. Do not hesitate to take this class. This class really helped my Armenian reading and writing skills. This professor is able to teach you Armenian in such a way that you will never learn anywhere in the diaspora. He is very passionate about the Armenian language and he wants you to succeed in the class and fall in love with the language. He tailors his classes in a way that they are stress free. In other words, the workload is not heavy but yet you learn soo much!!! Take his classes. You won't regret it!
He is one of the most insightful and most caring professors I have ever met! He cares so much about the students learning and is always available if you need help. Professor Kouloujian wants you to learn and he will do anything in his power to help you succeed. I have gone to an Armenian school for 12 years and within one quarter, I learned so much more. My passion for learning Armenian grew tremendously and he is the reason why I am minoring in Armenian studies. Extremely hard working professor and is always there to make sure his students improve!
