The worst class and professor I have ever had in UCLA.
Class material was easy, but her grading is crazy. There is no grade rubric for the weekly reading assignments, she will never give you 3/3. You can re-do the assignment but she won’t still give you full score. You will never know how she deducted the points. You will feel very uncomfortable with her grading. She also had unclear examples about culture on her slides that even herself is not sure what is going on on the video or that examples. She will ask you what is going on that examples and you never know if you learned the right thing.
This class would be required course for some students from ALC major, so you can’t avoid this but better to know these before you take it.
If this is not required, you should avoid taking this course!
