His lecture notes are kinda unorganized and the course itself is also very hard(More proofs but less calculations than 33a).
My suggestion:
1.Read the book and make sure you know very clearly about each theorem (know what they are and how to use them,but you don't need to know how to prove theorem itself because professor Hida said PROOF OF A THEOREM will NEVER appear on the exams)
2.HWs were a little hard but TA will help you during the discussion sessions so don't worry.
3.His review session before the exam IS ESSENTIAL!!!some of the problems he solved in review session will definitely appear in your real exam.

hida teaches well. he gives very useful outline before the exams. the final is a little harder in the T or F questions but still not that hard.
i do think hida teaches 115a easier than any other professors. got 90%+ in the midterms and full in the final. best math teacher ever in ucla
