It's very hard to teach a abstract class. it would be hard for those who demaning intuition. but overall, she manage to explain the text well and she cares for her students a lot. the work load is relativce small comparing to other classes which is a point can be improved

There were 2 schemes for this class (your grade is determine by the highest of the 2):
Scheme 1: 5% Journal, 15% Homework, 2 midterm (25% each), 30% final.
Scheme 2: 5% Journal, 15% Homework, 35% highest of the 2 midterms, 45% final.
Journal: The journal are just making a list of definition and theorem that was covered in the lecture. They are free points that is there to make sure that you at least read over the lecture notes. These are submitted every Sunday.
Homework: There are 7 homework, the lowest 2 are dropped. For each homework, 4-5 problems are usually assigned and some will be randomly be graded for correction. The difficulty of the problem varies, but it took awhile for me to complete the homework so I suggest start out early. There are extra problems that she doesn't collect but I would suggest to do them anyway so that you can be better prepare for the exams.
Exams: The professor uploads an exam review sheet and would the hold a review section during office hours where she solves problems on the review. I would say that about 60% - 70% of the exams is similar to the exams review and the homework problems so I would say definitely review those. For this quarter, the exams were given a 24 hours window. I took probably about 6 hours to complete the midterm (which she said would take 1 hours) and 12-14 hours to complete the final (which she said would take 3 hours).
Going to her office hours, I would say that she truly cares about student learning and is willing to help you with any question that you have. Also, she would ask if you have any feedback about the class.
Also, shoutout to the TA Benjamin Bowman for willing to spend the time in his office hours and discussion helping us with questions regarding the homework and concept.

I have never left a Bruinwalk review before, but for this teacher I felt as though I had to. This professor is quite hard to understand and does not accommodate for her students needs. Her lectures are all over the place, with minimal clarity. Often, her work is wrong during the lecture and she is constantly being corrected by students. Homework loads are excessive as well.
