I was honestly a little scared to take a math-heavy course over the summer, but Dr. Burton made it really manageable. The entire course was asynch for me, but you do have to watch the lecture videos to do well. I wouldn't say this course was easy - some of the questions on the problem sets and the exams were tough and required a strong understanding of the material. I would recommend connecting with other students - my class had a GroupMe which was helpful when we got stuck on questions and needed help (which was nice because HW is graded on correctness). Both the professor and TA also have OH, too, if you need more help. Here's the grade distribution for reference:
Homework: 50%
Midterm: 20%
Final Exam 25%
Quizzes 5%
Overall, I liked this class and would take it again with Dr. Burton!
