Professor Wang's lectures are not the most engaging but highly organized and clear. Wang and our TA Colin explain concepts well and give nice intuitions, making this course not that abstract. Also, Wang answers piazza/email questions and grades exams really fast.
This class was very hard! I had taken all of the lower div math classes including MATH 61 at that point yet still struggled in MATH 115AH. Professor Wang is a very smart and caring person who helped me so much throughout this course. TA Colin is also a very helpful person (although very very tough). The math department really needs more people like Professor Wang who are both capable of doing research and teaching upper-division courses!
I felt like this class was unorganized. Instructions and lectures were not that clear, and I feel like it was a bad introductory course to upper-division mathematics. The tests were tough and the homework assignments were one of the longest assignments I have ever been assigned.
