Dr. Winet is a brilliant professor. I took his BIOENGIN 19 seminar on orthopedic surgery, which was an extremely engaging and interesting class.

Dr. Winet is the chief orthopedic surgeon at Cedar Sinai Hospital. That doesn’t make him any less humble, friendly, or even accessible though. He taught us about proper scientific methods, the physiology of bone, and approaches to orthopedic surgery and device development. He brings samples of bone and devices to class regularly and we had a number of distinguished speakers over the course of the quarter.

A wonderful class for premeds especially!
