This class was only participation and 20+ page research paper. The classes consisted of discussions on a wide range of topics that I have never studied before. I learned so much in this class from the many books assigned (reading heavy). Miller provided a lot of information on the topics but disscussions were largely between students My favorite class at UCLA so far

Professor Miller is truly one of the few professors that truly cared about each student's understanding of debatable societal topics. I really learned a lot about a lot of areas that I later found out that I was gravely misinformed in, but this class helped rectify any misunderstandings. Because of this class, I feel like a more well-rounded person that can talk about these topics to others. This class is easy, but if you put in the effort, you can get so much more out of the class besides the grade.

Really engaging class where you get to learn about relevant issues in science and society! Will get desired grade as long as you do the reading and engage in discussion. The paper at the end of the course is long but manageable as long as you work on it in advance!

Selling all the required books for $15. Email at ************* if interested :)

Overall, the class is incredibly easy! Do the readings and show up for discussion. Easiest class I've had at UCLA so far.

Class is basically a discussion of the readings. Grade depends on your participation and a 20 page research paper. Almost everybody gets A's

SIDE NOTE: Selling the required books for a reasonable price. Contact BruinBornAndB*************
