Professor Marturano's lectures were truly amazing! Besides having a captivating argentinian accent, he is very knowledgeable and clearly explains course material. If you love Borges, Julio Cortazar, and Gabriel Garcia Marques, I recommend you take this class!

I just want to say that professor Marturano is the best professor I've ever had as a student in UCLA. His lectures are clear as water and all of the readings assigned are very interesting. He covers the best and must-read short stories, including those by Jorge Borges, Julio Cortazar,Juan Carlos Onetti, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He is awesome. He manages to make the 1:50 min class feel like it was 30 min one. I definitely recommend everyone who can take his course to do so.
