never have i worked so hard for a B+. Entrikin is too nice to hate but he grades extremely hard, his lectures are disorganized and confusing, and he doesnt properly explain what he wants out of students when doing their quarter projects.

Professor Entrikin is nice, sweet guy, but his lectures are impossibly difficult to follow. He can be extremely philosophical at times and there are a lot of instances where his point gets lost and there is hardly any continuity to his lectures. The subject is interesting, but would be better taught as a seminar instead. His tests are rather diffcult and long and he is a pretty tough grader.

He's the chair of the department, so he will hold you to a different standard (in terms of grading, discussion in class, etc...) He knows everything there is to know about everything, so take his class if you want to learn -- but don't take it if you're afraid of harming your GPA. He's tough.
