Quarter: Spring 2019
Grade: N/A
June 16, 2019

Structure:

Jointly lectured with Mahrer. There were lots and lots of guest lectures which were really engaging and relevant to the material being taught.

3 exams, drop the lowest so if you do well you dont have to take the final. Exams were relatively easy. Be able to not only recognize terms but apply the concepts to new situations. She was very fair with test questions and even offered bonus points and gave everyone credit for ambiguous / poorly worded questions.

2 chances for extra credit worth 2% of your grade.

iClicker questions 3-6 questions per lecture, for participation only. If you get 80% participation you get full participation credit, so you are allowed to miss a certain number of lectures without penalty.

She also provided a final grade calculator on excel midway through the quarter so you could test out your scores to decide whether or not to take the final or do the extra credit.

Overall this class was great and pretty easy, and interesting! I was not expecting to be interested in this class but it was my favorite of the quarter.
