Quarter: Fall 2019
Grade: N/A

Professor Jane Valentine has an exceptional memory and is very knowledgeable on various subject matters related to environmental health, including water quality and health. She prints out any relevant literature and water quality reports or provides downloadable copies if they are extensive. She also has the textbooks for the class on reserve. Her class has a non-traditional structure, she allows the class to discuss and goes over the readings, making note of knowledge gaps in the literature and explaining how standards were set, throughout the lectures. She also coordinates tours to wastewater treatment plants and brings speakers. I enjoyed her class because her lectures allowed me to see how I can apply what I learned to the real world through various career paths. Lastly, she is a really nice lady so as long as you do your work and show up to class you should get a good grade.
