Professor Wong is such a great professor! I recommend this class to anyone looking to satisfying a science GE or majoring in this field. He is funny, lectures are very clear, posts all of his slides on ccle.. which is great for those days you have to miss class. Overall great class.

Professor Wong is a very organized and clear lecturer. He does talk very fast to get through all the material, but this usually just means you need to write fast and get out of the 2 hour lecture early. Professor Wong makes it pretty fun and interesting. It's best to attend class, since he says some things not on the slides.

This class is pretty easy if you took AP Psych in high school, and it's pretty much just memorizing all of the material on the slides. The class is two (non-cumulative) multiple choice tests (50 each) that are each 45% of the grade, and another short research assignment. You can boost your grade if by 3% by doing the EC (super easy, but you need to be in lecture to get the paper you turn in for extra credit).

Overall, I found this to be an easy, enjoyable class, and would definitely recommend taking it if you find psychology interesting or want an easy class to take!

Although Wong talks fast and the powerpoint lectures can be insanely long, the material is extremely interesting. His midterm and final are both worth 45% of your grade (multiple choice) and the class is straight-scale, so there isn't a whole lot of room to wing it. However, he offers 3 extra credit opportunities throughout the quarter which can boost your final grade up to 3%. His exams are relatively straightforward. In addition to memorizing the powerpoint slides, make sure to write down the examples he says out loud for some of the definitions/concepts, because often those examples will appear on the exam almost verbatim. The exam questions focus more on scenarios/examples rather matching a definition with a concept. Overall the class is manageable and covers a lot of cool material.

Wong goes very very very fast. Just be prepared to sit there for two hours and listen to him go on and on about psych, because this class is straight up memorization. You're only graded on your midterm and final, which are both multiple choice and there is no curve. Please try to study/take good notes because it does add up. We cover at least 90 slides per day so be prepared.

tl;dr: It felt like high school all over again.

PSA: Moore 100 is freezing, so remember to wear layers.

The professor is great, but he has a little Singapore accent, which does not matter a lot. He will present class materials with a well-designed slides every lecture, and he will post the slides online a day in advance, so you can print it out and take notes on it, during classes. It is a good class in general, there are three parts of the grade, research participation/ summary writing, a midterm and a final. Midterms and finals are all composed of 50 multiple choices, and making up of 45% of the total grades, so you had better prepare for the midterm carefully.

The class itself was a fairly easy class, but the tests were relatively hard. It was 50 multiple choice questions for each test. Just study and keep up on the readings and you should do perfectly fine!
