Had him for LS15. My favorite professor I've had at UCLA. He was genuinely concerned that each of his students walked away from his class with something, no matter what it was. His tests were actually fairly difficult, but he curved generously, and if you go to his midterm and final reviews, then he pretty much gives you all the questions he asks on the tests. The discussion sections were interesting, and required a surprising amount of effort to do the debate and the project, but so long as you did put in the effort (and went to the discussions), your discussion grade will be good. Great class, taught by an even greater professor.
