This class was pretty simple, just show up and learn about terrorism through slides and videos. Your midterm will be a 10 page paper, and your final is just some in class mini-essays.
I only showed up to lecture like 3 times, started/finished my midterm paper the day before, and got an A-. That should say a lot about what your chances are in this class.
This class was about political violence specifically terrorism. The class consisted of one 15 page research paper and an in-class final. The research paper was about any topic in terrorism and was graded a little bit on the tougher side. I would recommend going to office hours because it made the assignment a lot more clear. For the final, knowing the main arguments of the readings is essential as well as the names of the authors. Overall, the class was very engaging and if I could I would take it again. Professor Simon is an expert in his field and offered a lot of great insight.
