Quarter: Winter 2020
Grade: A+
March 28, 2020

Very engaging and easy class, formatted around group-led discussions of assigned readings. Readings included sections from Collapse by Jared Diamond, The Coming Plague by Laurie Garrett, and DNA: The Story of the Genetic Revolution by James Watson. Final essay is on a science-related topic of your choice, minimum 6500 words. Highly recommend this class.

Amazing class. Definitely take this if you can. Debates about current events are engaging and honestly quite useful for life outside of the class. Prof is very sweet. There's a large paper, but the topic is very flexible and totally up to you.
