Eyolfson's CS111 class is pretty straightforward in terms of lecture, assignment, and tests. He seems engaging enough during his lectures and he makes his slides available for review. The problem is with the way he answers questions. For some reason, he has a strict policy of either not answering questions at all, or just deflecting it with a vague answer. Understandably, at this level, we're expected to Google most of the source code/background knowledge. However, the way he writes his assignments make it very difficult to find similar topics readily available on the internet. In short, expect a "go figure it out yourself" attitude if you have any questions about the material. Other than this strange behavior from him, I'd say he's pretty alright. I also want to echo SEAOSA's recommendation of not taking CS 111 with CS 131 in the same quarter- the workload will get you!
