Very concerned about teaching. Full of elegance. May God be with you.

Overall, he was a pretty decent professor. He always explains the concepts behind the equations though it is pretty easy to fall asleep when he's trying to prove every equation in the book. His tests are very conceptual so if you are used to plugging into equations without knowing why, then he's not the professor for you. The hw does get long sometimes, but they are ok until you hit those extreme hard problems that even he (who wrote the book by the way) does not know how to do. His office hours are not easy to fit into a typical student's schedule. But he is very good with emails, so if you have a question, just email him. He is very friendly and approachable. I would recommend him, but don't underestimate his class. Three chapters may be short for an entire quarter, but you go through every detail in those chapters.

I've only had Rogawski for one quarter, and I must say, he is one of the friendliest professors I have ever met! He is always open to questions in class and is willing to help anyone with homework problems. If he makes typos, be sure to let him know, he doesn't mind!
The only gripe I had was how tough it was to fit office hours into my schedule. I don't know if it's possible to get personal appointments with him, but you need to make time.
Other than that, he's great! Just one more thing: be sure to check online for podcasts, HW solutions, and those from previous exams to help you study. I'm definitely taking him next quarter!

He's a nice & pretty good professor but I hate him!!
Too much homeworks, his lecture only focuses on some concepts, and his test??????
WORST tests ever!!, does not prepare you at all for them.
If you are not into theory, then don't bother taking class from this Professor.
