Quarter: Fall 2018
Grade: A
March 20, 2019

I absolutely loved this class and Professor Sigmon! He genuinely cares about his students and teaches the material in a concise, interesting way. I love his sense of humor and engaging lecturing style that makes me love coming to class. He makes learning sociology super fun, is often cracking jokes, and is an overall wonderful professor. His exams were very straightforward, and he will only test you on material that has been discussed in class. I found that even if you did not do all the readings, as long as you understand everything on his lecture slides, you will do just fine! Overall, the exams were rather easy and the information tested was very much a reflection of the lecture slides. He will only test you on material that he has explicitly talked about, so there is no ambiguity. Overall, I owe it to this class and Professor Sigmon for sparking my interest in Sociology. I had him as a professor again for Sociology 101, and will miss him very much!
