Winter 2025 - Professor Martinez-Fernandez is an engaging teacher who encourages active learning about education and standardized testing, but the content can be overwhelming, especially or those without prior knowledge in research methods or R Coding. On the other hand, the Ta Yiping Wang is passionate about research but could improve by creating a more welcoming environment and being more patient and clearer when guiding students, especially since some of us struggle with R coding and plus the confusing wordy tests. More support from the Ta would make a big difference how students feel about the class, making it feel less stressful and more motivating.
