Fall 2022 - One of the most interesting bioengineering electives out there. The one major annoyance was the homework, which was summarizing a paper and drawing a figure for it. Waste of time and did not help you learn the information and prepare you for tests. Still worth taking.

Fall 2024 - There is so much that needs to change about this class. Dr. Park seems like a nice person who is definitely approachable, but he needs to change his lectures and teaching style. Each class, there would be about 60 slides of difficult content which barely had text to understand and Park did not annotate them for us to follow along. He would simply "lecture" about the content in a dull, monotonous voice which was severely disengaging. His homeworks were extremely time-consuming since they were not about the content at all, but required us to summarize research papers. There was one midterm and a final, both take-home with a week to finish. The exams were open-AI, which was the only reason they were manageable (though painfully long), since his slides were pretty much useless. There was hardly any exam practice provided during lectures and discussions or through homework. Overall, I felt that although I was interested in the course material, I could not learn much of it due to the many weaknesses of this class :(
