Love Dr. Plaček! The class consists of two workbook assignments/quizzes. Quizzes are pretty easy, as long as you do the review guides. Offers a ton of extra credit and provides quiz boosts if the class doesn’t fall within a B-/C+ average. Super accommodating and the sweetest professor I’ve had at UCLA.

Dr. Plaćek was absolutely AMAZING! She is caring and empathetic! I had a really difficult time due to my personal life halfway through the quarter and she was really understanding and cared! Her lectures were incredibly engaging! Tests were a bit difficult, but I realized I needed to fully pay attention to the readings in order to soak up the material. However, she gave a generous curve and allows two extra credit opportunities! The workbooks are a bit tricky, so be sure to ask questions for clarification purposes. Another positive note is if you have to miss class, she records and posts the lecture and you can always join in through zoom! I would love to take more courses with her in the future!
