Professor King puts on a very good course. She is smart, informative, and very warm during her office hours (good xenia). Her lectures are smooth and interesting, and she always opens up the floor for questions. Tests are all essay; read the material you should do fine.

Note: Lorenzo Garcia is the best TA I've ever had at UCLA. He is very helpful and works hard to make sure you will become a better writer. He is so enthusiastic about Greek literature and makes every section fun. If you want to improve your writing, take a class with Lorenzo, I can't say enough nice things about him.
