Professor King genuinely wants her students to succeed. She is the sweetest person ever and gives you tea and chocolate in her office hours. She assigns engaging material and the workload isn't too crazy. Got a B on the midterm but went to her office hours and ended up getting an A in the class.
Professor King is an engaging and passionate instructor. I highly recommend this course, or really any course you can get with her. She cares about her students and works with them to tailor projects and essays to student's specific interests. The assignment load for this course is light, a presentation, a take home midterm essay, a term paper, and a final take home essay exam. It is an easy course without being boring. Highly recommend for anyone interested in literature.
