Quarter: Fall 2019
Grade: A

This is the easiest and most interesting class I've ever taken including the courses I've taken at the community college. I always started studying 2 hours before and still did well on the quizzes and finals. The professor is also VERY HELPFUL and CARES ALOT ABOUT INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS. All of the TA's were really nice and helpful as well. I really recommend this class. Not because it's easy but this class is very interesting and the professor and the TA's are very nice!

Professor Smalley is an awesome professor who really cares about students and the subject she is teaching. If you pay attention in class and take notes about each clip that she goes over you will do well in the class. You do not need to buy any of the text books she suggests as long as you pay attention in class. There are 2 quizzes, a paper, and a final. Quizzes are short answer and about 20 questions. She gives you an hour to take the quiz, but most people finish in 30 minutes. The paper was fairly straight forward. The final was basically like the quizzes but double the length and there is a clip analysis in which you need to identify as many film editing techniques as you can. It is basically like what we did for the paper.
