Fall 2025 - the professor is great! he often incorporates his own research within lectures to further students' understanding. this as a ge is really manageable. attendance is mandatory in both lecture (either 3x participation during class or post a discussion after lecture via slack) and discussion (2 passes). personally, i would go to lectures and participate 3x and leave because everything you need to succeed is on the slides + reading. R assignments and Exam Cheat sheets are often tedious but manageable if you don't procastinate. STUDY for the quizzes because they make up the most of your grade. Take-home FINAL is like a mix of R assignment + Exam Cheat sheets assignments that you'd do during discussions (probably could finish in 2-3 hours if you lock in and reach a flow state). the class also offers many Extra Credits opportunities. overall, a great ge!
