I'm selling Mesoamerican Voices, Children of God's Fire, Letters and People of the Spanish Indies, Prof Terraciano's Red &Blue Course Reader all for $50 or each for $15. Email ************* if interested and can meet on campus for drop off. Good luck in the course and grade all depends on TA!
Honestly one of the best classes I've taken at UCLA. Terraciano can be boring in lecture, but if you do all the readings and the study guides its an easy A. Selling all the necessary books email: ************* if interested.
Professor Terraciano is one of the best professors I've had at UCLA. Taking his class as a first year was definitely a great experience. I was able to become accustomed to the UC system and his lectures were engaging. Overall his class wasn't the hardest but it is one you must use the readings a lot for. I definitely also very much enjoyed going to his office hours because he was very helpful for midterm and final reviews. Would definitely recommend this class to a friend.
If interested I'm selling Mesoamerican Voices, Children of God's Fire, Letters and People of the Spanish Indies, Prof Terraciano's Red &Blue Course Reader notes all for $50 or each for $15. Willing to compromise. My email is *************.
"Took the class in Fall 2015. Selling Mesoamerican Voices (bought it brand new), Children of God's Fire, Letters and People of the Spanish Indies, Prof Terraciano's Red &Blue Course Reader notes, all for $60. Email me at ************* if interested. "
Terraciano is a great professor and makes his class pretty engaging. His slides are straightforward and helpful for the essay style exams he gives. You have to write two papers for the class and the grading is annoyingly subjective (so you should try to get a TA who grades leniently), but you can go to office hours to get parts of your paper reviewed so it really isn't hard to get a good grade in the class.
Selling required textbooks (Children of God's Fire, Mesoamerican Voices, and Letters and People of the Spanish Indies: Sixteenth Century), as well as red and blue course readers (with minimal annotations on some pages).
selling both red and blue readers for a total of $30 few notes written inside used to outline the essays got an A on the essays and class so its useful info. email me at ************* if interested in purchasing. i can also send yu both midterm and final review questions and answers.
Great professor! I am glad I took History 8A over some other GE's. The class has a lot of reading, but if you are willing to do the work, not procastinate on your essays, you will be fine! Also make sure you get a good TA. If Juan Pablo is there, try to get him he really helps! In general, most of the TA's seemed to be fair though! The professor also is not the typical memorize dates and names for a grade, he tests you on your analysis which allows you to express your self.
