goat professor. easiest final ever. notes are extremely organized are closely follow the textbook. allows cheat sheet on exams. he explicitly states that he will make the next exam easier if the previous one was too hard
Just take him. Super chill guy and usually pretty funny, especially for such a large lecture. Notes are available and he records lectures. Sometimes, his accent is hard to understand, but he is very accommodating and hosts so many office hours. He's also really available by email where he is very clear.
The math department screwed his class over by limiting the number of As he gives out, but his tests are very clear and not surprising at all, as they come with practice examples, he gives partial credit and he allows for regrade requests. Most of the questions pretty closely resemble the examples he does in class.
There's very little wasted time in class because it's fast-paced, but it's not boring. Homework was slightly more difficult, but not impossible, and each assignment was worth 10 points. 8 of those points would be for completion, and 2 would come from a random problem the TAs would grade.
Grading breakdown: 20% homework, 25% midterm 1, 25% midterm 2, 30% final OR 20% homework, 35% best of your midterms, 45% final, whichever is higher.
