On the surface, the below review may seem true. But the professor actually really cares about her students. She has her rules, to be fair; but she's totally within her rights. If you can't come to class on time, she posts her slides online. And she makes it easy to meet with her.

If you're genuinely interested in suburbia, you'll find this class insightful and fun. But if you're looking for an easy A without really trying, this isn't the class for you. You have to have the right attitude in order to succeed with Frasure.

This professor is straight-up crazy. She takes academia way too seriously. In fact, she yells at individual students without hesitation.

Late by a few minutes? You'll be called out and asked to leave immediately.

Decide to check the score of the game during lecture? She'll call you out, insult you, and tell you to leave.

Doze off during lecture? She'll snap her fingers in front of you, and scream at you to "WAKE UP."

If you want to feel like you're in high school again, by all means take this class.

The class is about institutionalized racism, not suburbia.

The professor is on her high horse every lecture.

This being said, it's a relatively easy A. You just have to regurgitate information she gives you on quizzes, reading critiques, the midterm, and the final paper.

This class is just a headache over all. Consider whether you're ready for this deal before you sign up.
