Professor Hornby is very eccentric and knowledgeable. She tends to go on tangents, but I found what she had to say compelling and refreshing. There was two in-class essays and a final project encapsulating our notes on photography throughout the class that could be formatted to our choosing. Hornby cares much more about whether we've learned something that we find applicable to our lives than formality when grading assignments. If you're a big yapper/ideas person, I would recommend this class!
